CNCViewer ("this app") is a CNC machining file viewer and editor. We take your personal information seriously and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how this app collects, uses, and protects information.

1. Information We Collect

This app is a standalone offline tool and does not collect or upload your personal information.

No account registration is required, and we do not request your phone number, email address, or other personal information.
CNC files that you open or view, such as .nc, .tap, and .mpr files, remain on your device and are not uploaded to any server.
This app does not integrate third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or payment services.

2. Device Permissions and File Access

This app accesses files only when you actively select them through the system file picker. It does not request system permissions unrelated to its core function.

Important:

The iOS version does not request Photos, Contacts, Microphone, Camera, Location, Bluetooth, or Local Network permissions.
The iOS version accesses only files that you explicitly select in the system document picker and cannot automatically scan or read other files on the device.
The HarmonyOS version can revoke its media permissions in system settings; doing so may prevent CNC files from being opened or saved.
This app never requests or uses permissions in the background.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data generated while using this app, including the contents of opened CNC files, remains on your device. This app does not use backend servers or cloud storage, so there is no cloud data exposure risk. Please protect your device and prevent unauthorized access to your files.

4. Children

This app is an industrial utility and does not provide services specifically directed to children or knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use this app under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
